Emily Harris is a photographer and artist based in London and Essex.
Emily graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Photography. She currently has work within the Imperial War Museum and National Historic Ships and recently won a commission from the British Council to make work in India. Emily moved into the commercial world of photography taking her documentary style with her to work. She works through out Europe and the UK for international magazines; and teaches photography at Hampton Court Palace and Kensington Palace and the National Portrait Gallery.
Weddings are shot in a quintessential, English style. Her documentary skills make her style un-obtrusive, enabling her to embrace the function of memory by documenting moments that may not have been seen but will become part of a valuable historical document. By combining her fine art photographic knowledge and experience with people sartorially, her portraits are exclusive and of a matchless quality.
Portrait Commissions are considered with the highest attention and tailored to individual requirements. Emily uses a combination of her professional skills and theoretical knowledge of the history of photography together with her natural empathy with people to develop and produce distinctive and unique portraits, which capture and depict the essence of the subject.
