Using a range of different media Emily communicates products, services and projects for the marine and yachting industry. Photography has been the starting point in her career, now she also uses video, design and events as part of her repertoire.
Emily is the founder of Classic Yacht TV www.classicyacht.tv - web TV showcasing classic boat and yachting sailing stories through video. She is distributing to a growing niche audience via the website, mail shots, social networks and collaborations with sailing publications. The purposely designed 'On Demand' nature of Classic Yacht TV allows yacht owners, crew and admirers to enjoy short form productions across the world, anytime. These videos also accommodate companies and sponsors wanting to have a presence in this digital age of publishing; CYTV is supporting brands striving to move away from investment in print advertising into branded content video advertising and sponsorship.
Emily grew up sailing on the east coast of England on traditional boats, she still races dinghies from Blackwater Sailing Club (Y&Y club of the year 2014). She graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Photography from UCA Farnham, Surrey. Her final major project, a multimedia installation 'Jim, Duke and Harry' was acquired by the Imperial War Museum. Emily has worked as a documentary photographer, film maker and writer for the yachting press ever since.
