Always striving to provide the viewers of my photographs and films with an immersive experience, the best umbrella term to represent what I’m interested in is craftsmanship. Anyone honing their craft, whether that’s sailors, chefs, an international rugby player–turned–breath work coach, or a farmer, I’m interested in their processes and their environment.

Since 2005, I've freelanced, shooting private photography and film commissions, as well as a range of editorial and commercial projects, with a specialisation in craftsmanship and maritime subjects, extensively in boatbuilding and sailing.

I’m currently working on two book publications shot in the UAE for the Department of Culture in 2024; one, a neo-archaeological boat museum project, and the other is a heritage cookbook. During S/S 2025, I’m actively shooting personal projects related to coastal life and food.

Publications, institutional clients, work in collections:

Classic Boat [UK], Yachting World [UK], Wooden Boat [US], The Times [UK], YACHT Magazin [Germany]. Most recently, the Zayed National Museum, Abu Dhabi [UAE], National Historic Ships [UK], National Geographic [UK], Historic Royal Palaces [UK]. ‘Jim, Duke and Harry’ resides in the Imperial War Museum (Photography Collection), London [UK].
